Who Are We?

Corky has had a lifelong love of trains and circuses. His earliest childhood memories are of building layouts with whatever accessories he could find.

As an adult, he pursued this love by joining Ringling Brothers and Barnum and Bailey circus. During his time with the circus he built his first complete HO circus. Eventually, he moved into 'O' scale and then decided to add trains to his "show".

After meeting me, Sharon, we decided to put together a layout to take to train shows. This became the award winning train/circus modular layout called Big Top Railroad.

Unfortunately, all good things must come to an end and we've decided not to show Big Top Railroad any longer. We've had a wonderful time meeting everybody and hope to come across many of you again in our future endeavors.

While doing these shows it has been brought to our attention that many of the items on the layout are either not available or hard to find. We've created Realistic Custom Railroads as a way of helping people find quality items to have the train layout of their dreams. We started creating interiors to give the buildings on your layout a "lived in" look. Check out our products page to see pictures of some of our work.

Our newest addition is going to be a new line of buildings we are working on. The first one is due to be released very soon. It should be making it's debut at the April 2007 York meet. We hope to see all of you there so you can see our latest addition. If you are unable to make it to York we will have pictures here soon.

This website is a sample of some of the items we have available and is constantly being updated. Check back often to see what is new. There are many other items we can find, if needed. If you are looking for something special let us know, we'll do our best.
